Added: Jun 14, 2010 5:33 pm RECOVERY - THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. This is a PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS.


The USDA Forest Service, Eldorado National Forest (hereafter "the Government," "the Forest Service," or "the Eldorado National Forest (NF)"), announces a requirement for grading and shaping of existing native surface roads as well as placement of road base, bridge rail replacements, and AC patching on chip seal surfaces. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment and materials to complete the project on schedule. The work area is located on the Eldorado National Forest, El Dorado County, California.

This acquisition is being advertised as a Total Small Business set-aside under FAR Part 19. The estimated construction range of magnitude is $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. Contract period of performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be registered and active with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about 28 June 2010. No hardcopies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed.
