THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER VETERANS FIRST CONTRACTING PROGRAM 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.The purpose of this project is to provide Design Build Services to replace/upgrade approximately six (6) Motor Control Centers (MCC) throughout the VA facility and rebuilding of approximately five (5) 460 volt Square D I-line elevator distribution panels of various amperages. Rebuilding of the I-line panels shall consist of removal and replacement of all internal panel parts inclusive of individual breakers. Project will include complete design and engineering of MCCs to be replaced with no interruption of Medical Air, Medical VAC, and Control Air Compressors or other critical equipment required for the VA Medical Center to operate. The anticipated cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work will take place at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.
