About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, is soliciting full-service catering, staffing, rental equipment, and event support services for a REACH 250 post-program evening reception at the National Museum of the American Indian on November 17, 2026, with quotations due October 19. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) under NAICS 722320 with a $9 size standard, and only NMAI-approved vendors are eligible for award.

Place of performance is Washington, DC. The event runs 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM for 250 to 300 guests and requires full-service catering including 3–6 hors d'oeuvres or buffet station options (protein-based, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free selections with Native American inspiration preferred), non-alcoholic beverages, accommodation of special dietary needs, optional cash bar capability, staffing (lead supervisor, bartender, wait staff, kitchen and pantry staff, setup and breakdown personnel), rental equipment (bar units, cocktail tables, seating for approximately 30 guests with disabilities or elderly visitors, china, glassware, serving pieces, themed decorations), round-trip delivery, setup, same-day pickup, trash removal, and recycling. The contractor must submit final menu selections, floor plan, staffing plan, and timeline 10 business days prior to the event and confirm final guaranteed guest count and dietary requests 7 calendar days prior. Contract structure is Firm-Fixed-Unit Price on an all-inclusive per-person basis; the firm-fixed per-person price does not increase for guest count adjustments within the seven-day confirmation window unless the Government directs an increase. Payment is due 30 days after invoice receipt or service acceptance. Evaluation criteria are Technical Approach and Management (demonstrating understanding of deliverables and Native American-inspired culinary traditions) and Past Performance (at least one relevant experience within the last three years), with award made to the quote determined most advantageous to the Government. Questions are due by 3:00 PM ET on October 19 (six calendar days after issuance). Contact Joelle Donovan (joelle_donovan@ibc.doi.gov) or Scott Szczesniak (scott_szczesniak@ibc.doi.gov).
