About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction Office of Research and Development, Regional Procurement Office East in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source on June 26, 2026, announcing its intent to award a sole source contract to AB Evergreen Analytics LLC for comprehensive technical support services to the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center Mental Health Services Department's Research & Development capabilities, with a response deadline of July 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST.
The VA justifies the sole source award under FAR 6.103-1 on the basis that AB Evergreen Analytics LLC is the only responsible source capable of satisfying agency requirements. The contractor has provided follow-on research support including research data delivery, design support, and publication deliverables to SFVAMC's Mental Health Services Department. The VA cites AB Evergreen Analytics LLC's specific experience with Veterans Health Administration work, established collaboration with VA San Francisco's clinical and research psychologists, and deep familiarity with the complexity and continuity requirements of the ongoing research projects as factors precluding competition.
No competitive solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov. The applicable NAICS code is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services) with a $19.5 million size standard; the PSC is R499 (Support—Professional: Other). Interested parties may contact R&D Contract Specialist Karly Gabrysiak at Karly.gabrysiak@va.gov. The formal response date is July 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
