Amendment #0001, to respond to questions received from solicitation.
AMENDMENT 1
QUESTIONS.
Question: instead of a nurse practitioner, is it acceptable to have a Registered Nurse fulfill this position?
Response: My answer ..would be yes, an RN is fine.
Question: There are specific tasks that are usually completed by a survey team medication/treatment and meal observations as well as interactions with residents and staff related to medical review findings. These tasks cannot be effectively completed off-site. What is the rationale for not including these clinically focused tasks in the solicitation?
Response: These tasks are a part of a survey. So, yes, it is reasonable that they would be included.
Question: Administrators do not always have a clinical background. If there is a need for policy reviews, these tasks could be completed by an Administrator off-site. However, if there are concerns regarding the overall management of the CLC then including an Administrator on the team makes sense. Why Administrator on Team?
Response: Overall management/administration of the CLC is by clinicians, i.e. the Medical Director is a physician and the Associate Nurse Executive is an RN. So, both clinicians.
Would you kindly confirm if this is an entirely new effort or is there an incumbent currently providing these services? If yes, would you please provide the incumbent contract details?
Response: Current order: Â 36C25618P5603
Vendor: Â Harmony Healthcare International, Inc.
POP: Â 6/26/2018-6/25/2023
