About this opportunity
This Special Notice announces NASA/Johnson Space Center's intent to award a sole source contract to Outpost Technologies, Inc. for the completion of design work and subsequent build, test, and delivery of twenty-six pairs of stainless steel and titanium quick disconnects.
The Special Notice provides contractors until April 21, 2023 to submit their capabilities and qualifications to NASA/Johnson Space Center to be considered for conducting this acquisition on a competitive basis, though award appears likely to be sole source due to Outpost Technologies' proven manufacturing experience in this requirement. Eligible contractors must be small businesses and submit responses electronically to Kendrea Vallien by the April 21 deadline. Questions are due by April 14. The notice is clear no opportunity exists here for commercial items per FAR Part 12 and the agency reserves sole discretion over competition.
