About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking to procure quantity 12 45-degree Dichroic Mirrors and quantity 12 45-degree Turning Mirrors for use in kilowatt-class lasers. The Dichroic Mirrors must handle at least 2 kW of average power, have an anti-reflection coating on one side and a high-reflectivity coating on the other to reflect a specific wavelength. The Turning Mirrors must have a commercial polish on one side and a high-reflectivity coating on the other to reflect wavelengths between 1030-1064 nm with over 99.95% efficiency. The mirrors must meet tight tolerances for dimensions, surface properties, and reflectivity. Responses are due by July 30, 2024, and delivery is required within 12 weeks of contract award to the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland.

This procurement is not set-aside for any specific business type. The government has not identified any incumbents or current contractors. The expected award value is not provided, but the procurement is for quantity 24 mirrors. The solicitation number is W911QX-24-Q-0237, and the NAICS code is 333310 - Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing.
