About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration is seeking non-personal activation support services for the new Pflugerville VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Texas. The contract will support bringing the 49,944 square foot multi-specialty clinic into full operational status, with services including Primary Care, Mental Health, Whole Health, Radiology, Pathology, Prosthetics, Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Clinical Management. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on January 9, 2025, with responses due by February 4, 2025, and will utilize FAR Parts 12, 13, and 37. Potential offerors must submit any questions via email to Lesa Crockett and Kathleen Klotzbach, with no telephone inquiries accepted. The procurement aims to enhance outpatient services and decompress the Temple VA Medical Center by establishing a new clinic location.
The contract is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) under NAICS code 541614, with strict verification requirements through the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price arrangement with an estimated 35-month period of performance. The new facility will include 350 parking spaces and is designed to address space gaps identified in the Strategic Capital Investment Planning (SCIP) process. Eligible SDVOSBs must be verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs and meet the small business size standard for the specified NAICS code. While specific award value was not disclosed, the comprehensive scope of services and extended performance period suggest a significant contract opportunity for qualified service-disabled veteran-owned businesses.
