About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 published a Special Notice of intent to sole source the BioPoint Patient ID Application Upgrade. The Special Notice seeks to upgrade the existing BioPoint patient identification application currently used by the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center to provide new features and functionality without disruption to patient care.
The objective is to procure an upgrade to the BioPoint Patient ID software application system from Minburn Technology Group, LLC, the authorized distributor and reseller of BioPoint. Interested parties have until February 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time to respond to the contracting officer. The eight-month, firm-fixed price effort is estimated at $18,720. As the incumbent, BioPoint is the only eligible source as this is a sole source procurement justified by the urgent need to upgrade the compatible, proprietary software from the service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
