About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (Network Contracting Office 22) is soliciting for Cardiovascular Technologist Staffing Services to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California. The procurement seeks qualified contractors to provide temporary staffing support for cardiovascular technology positions within the VA healthcare system. This solicitation will be issued as an electronic solicitation on or about December 18, 2025, through SAM.gov, with the initial pre-solicitation notice posted on December 3, 2025, providing interested parties with a 15-day window to prepare for the formal solicitation. The contract will be structured as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) arrangement, which allows the government flexibility in ordering services as needed while providing cost certainty. The Point of Contact for this opportunity is Bill Cook, Contracting Officer, who can be reached at william.cook2@va.gov for inquiries regarding this procurement.
This procurement opportunity is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), making it unavailable to non-veteran-owned entities or large businesses. The contract carries a five-year period of performance, with funded task orders to be awarded on an annual basis, providing a multi-year commitment for the successful contractor. While no specific incumbent contractor information or award value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the indefinite quantity structure indicates that actual staffing requirements will be determined through individual task orders issued throughout the contract period. The NAICS code 561320 (Temporary Help Services) and Product Service Code Q502 (Cardiology) classify this requirement within the healthcare staffing and cardiovascular services industries. Prospective bidders are encouraged to review the full solicitation documents when they become available on SAM.gov to understand specific qualifications, performance standards, and task order procedures.
