About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency - Troop Support is seeking sources to provide Pyridostigmine Bromide Tablets (PB Tabs), a pharmaceutical product with specific FDA requirements. The procurement involves USP 30 MG tablets that are individually sealed, with each package containing 210 tablets and a desiccant. The agency is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market intelligence about current manufacturers and potential suppliers of this medical product. The RFI invites manufacturers and developers to submit detailed information about their product, including place of manufacture, FDA registration, current unit sales price, inventory levels, delivery capabilities, and product origin. Responses must be submitted electronically in PDF format to Contracting Specialist Rosbert.Jones@dla.mil by May 5, 2025, with the understanding that all submitted information will be kept confidential under federal law.

The contract has no specific set-aside designation and represents an annual estimated requirement of 27,000 packages with a base year and four potential one-year option periods. The tablets will be delivered to the Defense Distribution Center in Norfolk, VA, and must have an FDA-approved shelf life of no less than 120 months. While the RFI does not commit the government to issue a solicitation or make an award, it is part of DLA Troop Support's strategy to develop an appropriate procurement approach for Pyridostigmine Bromide Tablets. The pharmaceutical falls under NAICS category 325412 for Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing and PSC category 6505 for Drugs and Biologicals. Potential suppliers are encouraged to provide comprehensive information about their current manufacturing capabilities, product development stages, and any independent or FDA testing that has been conducted.
