About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking to procure two Pump-Aux Drive Motor units (NSN 2915-01-494-8648, Part Number 802248-4) from Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation through a combined synopsis/solicitation process. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) requires vendors to provide clear traceability documentation back to the Original Equipment Manufacturer and submit a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with FAR clause 52.246-15. All prospective vendors must demonstrate expertise in providing aircraft engine fuel system components and ensure their products meet all form, fit, and function requirements of the original parts. The solicitation allows for OEM-approved alternate parts that satisfy the approved configuration requirements, and vendors must provide comprehensive documentation including manufacturer's certificates and their own conformance certificates. The solicitation closes on July 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, with quotations to be submitted to Stephanie.O.Reams@uscg.mil.

This is an unrestricted procurement with no set-aside designation, allowing all responsible sources to submit quotations under the small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or current service providers for these specific components. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order on a competitive basis for the two required pump units. The procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, and vendors must comply with F.O.B. Destination or F.O.B. Origin shipping terms, with Ex Works or Incoterms 2020 specifically prohibited. The solicitation emphasizes that no drawings, specifications, or schematics are available from the agency, requiring vendors to rely on their existing knowledge and capabilities for these aviation components.
