About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State, through its Embassy in Brussels, is soliciting quotations for the purchase of one vehicle using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 12. This solicitation will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. The Government may make an award based on initial quotations without discussions, though discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if deemed necessary. Quotations must be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat PDF format (not exceeding 30MB per file) to BrusselsBids@state.gov by April 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with no late submissions accepted. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to proposal submission, as failure to do so may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsible and ineligible for further consideration.
This acquisition carries no set-aside designation and represents an open competitive solicitation. The solicitation does not specify an award value or budget range for the vehicle purchase. Quotations must include all information required by Section 3 of the RFQ document, and all proposals must be submitted in English with complete information; incomplete proposals will not be accepted. The place of performance is Brussels, Belgium (postal code 1000), where the vehicle will be utilized by the Embassy. Interested vendors should note that immediate SAM registration is highly encouraged to ensure compliance with proposal submission requirements and avoid disqualification.
