About this opportunity

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency seeks proposals through January 8, 2020 for its Providence program through Broad Agency Announcement HR001120S0005-Amendment-03. DARPA is soliciting innovative research proposals in naval surface warfare, electronic warfare, battlespace surveillance, machine learning, intelligent systems, and ultra-wideband receiving that investigate revolutionary approaches. Proposals must address one technical area and include tasks and costs for a 36-month, two-phase program with an initial 18-month base period and an optional 18-month extension. Selection will be based on scientific and technical merit, contribution to DARPA's mission, capabilities and experience, and realism of schedule and costs.

There is no set-aside designation. Research is sought across multiple areas, and DARPA anticipates making awards for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 periods of 18 months each. PSC codes likely include R408 for research and development in electronics and R699 for other research and development. No incumbent contractors or potential award values were provided.
