The repair scope includes removing loose and delaminated concrete using a tap test with a 5 kg hammer, applying a bonding agent (Sika or Fosroc), applying polymer-modified cement mortar (Ultratech or equivalent), and finishing with weather-resistant white exterior-grade paint followed by an anti-carbonation protective coating. All work must comply with IS 456 standards and relevant IS/ASTM standards, along with EM 385-1-1 safety requirements and local codes. Scaffolding must be designed by a certified structural engineer and inspected and certified by a third-party expert. The contractor must provide barricading, inclined aluminum ladders for access, and work one building side at a time.
Performance must begin within 10 calendar days of notice to proceed and be completed within 60 days (per SOW) during operating hours 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. All contractor personnel require host government photo IDs and security clearance. A one-year warranty covering repair issues or spalling is required, with costs borne by the contractor. No performance and payment bonds are required. NAICS 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction); PSC N056 (Installation of Equipment—Construction and Building Materials).
