About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications provider to lease, install, and maintain a 10GB WAVE service connecting two specific naval facilities: Building 2664, Room 101 at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, CA and Building 1482, Room 169 at NAS North Island in San Diego, CA. This procurement is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial products and services under NAICS code 517111. The solicitation will use a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate vendor submissions. Proposals are due by May 13, 2025, and must include both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges for the telecommunications service. Vendors must comply with specific Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions applicable to commercial products and services, including standard provisions outlined in the solicitation.

The contract opportunity is not designated as a small business set-aside and will be open to all qualified telecommunications carriers. The product and service code for this requirement is DG11, specifically for network telecommunications access services. While specific award values are not detailed in the solicitation, the procurement involves a comprehensive telecommunications infrastructure project connecting two critical naval installations in California. The service will require precise installation and maintenance of a 10GB WAVE service, with vendors expected to demonstrate technical capability and provide competitive pricing. The geographic performance locations are explicitly defined as Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and NAS North Island in San Diego, with specific room and building identifiers providing exact connection points for the required telecommunications infrastructure.
