About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to establish and maintain a dedicated 100MB lease connection between two specific buildings at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The solicitation, issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), requires the installation of a telecommunications link connecting Building 500, Room 37 at 246 Brown Parkway, and Building 115, Maintenance Room at 22970 State Highway 38 in Jet, OK. The procurement will utilize the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, focusing on commercial products and services under NAICS code 517111. Offerors must submit quotes with detailed line item descriptions, including monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, following the guidelines in the IQO Desk book. The solicitation is open from March 20, 2025, with proposals due by April 21, 2025, and incorporates standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses for commercial product acquisitions.
This opportunity is not designated as a small business set-aside, despite initial indications in the solicitation. The service will be categorized under Product and Service Code DG11 for telecommunications network services, specifically satellite communications and telecom access services. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the contract involves a dedicated telecommunications infrastructure connecting two government facilities. The place of performance is clearly defined across two locations in Oklahoma, with precise building and room specifications provided. The solicitation requires comprehensive documentation, including offeror representations, certifications, and compliance with standard commercial product terms and conditions. Potential providers will need to demonstrate technical capability to establish and maintain the specified 100MB lease connection, with evaluation focusing on technical acceptability and pricing competitiveness.
