About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking commercial internet service providers to provide, install, and maintain high-speed internet connectivity with minimum 1GB upload and download speeds at a specific Palm Beach, Florida location. This telecommunications procurement falls under NAICS code 517121 (Telecommunications Resellers) and product service code DG11, requiring offerors to submit quotes structured as monthly recurring charges and/or non-recurring charges in accordance with commercial products and services terms and conditions. The solicitation incorporates standard Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses for commercial acquisitions and will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submissions. The opportunity was originally posted on May 13, 2025, with an amendment removing diversity requirements, and quotes are due by July 1, 2025. This combined synopsis/solicitation serves as the complete procurement document without requiring a separate written solicitation.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside with a size standard of 1,500 employees, limiting competition to qualifying small businesses in the telecommunications sector. The specific place of performance is 136 Kings Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480, where the contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining the required internet service infrastructure. While the solicitation documents do not specify contract duration, award values, or identify current incumbents, the recurring nature of telecommunications services suggests an ongoing maintenance and service delivery requirement beyond the initial installation phase. The procurement structure emphasizes commercial telecommunications solutions rather than specialized government systems, indicating DISA's preference for leveraging existing commercial internet service capabilities. The amendment specifically removing diversity requirements suggests the agency prioritized expanding the competitive pool of potential small business offerors for this telecommunications service contract.
