About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground is conducting market research to shape the acquisition strategy for the Army Intelligence Data Platform - Next (AIDP-Next), a cloud-to-edge intelligence capability platform designed to support all-source intelligence analysts across Army echelons from strategic to tactical levels. The Government seeks solutions that integrate intelligence data management, processing, and analytics capabilities across cloud and edge environments while maintaining a single, coherent user interface accessible to intelligence professionals of all ranks and experience levels. Key requirements include support for denied, degraded, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) connectivity conditions; modular open systems approach (MOSA) architecture; zero-trust security; and seamless interoperability with current and future fires and mission command systems. The evaluation will assess vendors' technical approaches, commercial viability, modularity and interoperability of proposed solutions, vendor experience, and alignment with open standards such as Hydra API, Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), and Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA). Critical dates include March 13, 2026, at 1700 EST for one-on-one meeting requests and March 24, 2026, at 1700 EST for submission of questions and feedback on the Draft Call for Solution; prototype contract awards are anticipated in June 2026.

This procurement involves no set-asides and does not identify specific incumbent contractors, though supporting documentation lists 14 companies with relevant capabilities spanning AI/ML, data integration, networking, intelligence analysis, and sensor technologies. The Government intends to employ either Broad Agency Announcement or Commercial Solution Offering authority under the Army Open Solicitation framework, with an accelerated award process featuring response deadlines of approximately ten to fourteen days once the final Call for Solution is released in late March or early April 2026. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The program timeline extends through fiscal year 2030, with multiple Minimum Viable Capability Releases planned during the execution phase. Interested vendors are instructed to request the Draft Call for Solution, which contains Controlled Unclassified Information and must be obtained through specific procedures; vendors are encouraged to submit company information, solution descriptions, and feedback using the designated Excel template and official email channels.
