About this opportunity

US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of rapidly producing the Family of Counter-UAS Systems (FoCUS) hardware, with responses due by August 27, 2026. This is a Sources Sought Notice for informational purposes only and does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation or award a contract.

FoCUS is a multi-sensor, multi-modal Counter-UAS system currently integrated onto multiple Tactical Ground platforms. Contractors would procure and fabricate all hardware specified in Government-provided Build of Materials and Technical Data, including exact makes and models of sensing, computing, and mast hardware; commercial equivalents are acceptable for other components. Work includes installing and verifying software compatibility with Government-provided FoCUS software, ensuring subsystem versions match current configurations, performing calibration and system function checks, and assembling, fabricating, and integrating hardware onto Tactical Ground platforms. Mechanical fabrication tasks include cutting, bending, welding, painting, and stenciling; electrical work includes rugged cable assemblies and vehicle harnesses.

The minimum production requirement is one system per month. Contractors must provide recommendations for design changes to accelerate production. Technical Data and Build of Materials will be provided to vendors in the event of contract award; C5ISR Center is available to provide oversight or input to the assembly process if desired.

Interested firms should submit company name and address, valid CAGE Code and SAM registration, point of contact information, business size status, manufacturing expertise on Army vehicle platforms with relevant contract references, delivery capabilities, place of performance, and estimated production costs with potential quantity discounts. Both small and large businesses are encouraged to respond.
