About this opportunity
The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground seeks procurement of E-Field monitoring equipment for the US Army Electronic Proving Ground, with proposals due August 7, 2026 at 09:00 AM MST and questions due July 31, 2026. This is a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside, firm fixed-price solicitation on an all-or-none basis.
The requirement consists of 12 Narda Fieldman E-Field Monitor units (Model 2460), 12 EFD-1891 Fast Acting Probes (Model 2462), and 12 EFD-5091 True RMS Probes (Model 2462), delivered by August 31, 2026 to Fort Huachuca, Arizona (Building 90201, Brainard Road, DoDAAC W61DD3) on an FOB Destination basis. These are high-precision Radiation Hazard measurement systems designed to assess modern fast-pulsing waveforms in advanced radar and electronic warfare environments.
Technical specifications are detailed: the Fieldman monitor must be ruggedized handheld (maximum 315 mm x 95 mm x 55 mm, 700 grams including battery) with a minimum 5-inch sunlight-readable color TFT-LCD display (1280 x 720 HD resolution), rechargeable Li-Ion battery (minimum 15 hours operation), USB-C Power Delivery charging, USB-C/Gigabit Ethernet/Optical connectivity, digital probe interface, IP54 or better protection, and integrated temperature, humidity, and air pressure logging. The EFD-1891 probe covers 2 MHz to 18 GHz with 0.6 V/m to 1000 V/m measurement range using diode-based sensors (minimum 60 dB dynamic range) and digital-at-the-head signal conversion. The EFD-5091 probe covers 300 MHz to 50 GHz with 8 V/m to 614 V/m measurement range using thermocouple-based sensors for True RMS values on complex pulsed signals. Alternative solutions with equivalent performance are eligible if supported by compliance matrix and technical documentation; thermocouple-based sensing is preferred but not mandatory. Award will be made on a lowest-priced technically acceptable basis. NAICS 334515; PSC 6625.
