About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Service Contract (PMSC) for Carrier Chiller systems through Request for Quotations (RFQ) number 19AJ2025Q0008. The solicitation requires a Carrier-certified contractor to perform semi-annual maintenance on four air-cooled scroll chillers located in the embassy's Chancery building. Key contract requirements include comprehensive maintenance services twice annually, 24/7 emergency response, system diagnostics, equipment cleaning and inspection, and detailed maintenance logging. The government intends to award the contract to the lowest-priced, acceptable, and responsible quoter, potentially without further discussions. Critical dates include a pre-quotation conference on April 17, 2025, and a proposal submission deadline of April 30, 2025, at 18:00 Baku Time, with electronic submissions required to specific email addresses.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be a firm fixed-price arrangement with a base one-year period and four optional one-year extension periods. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, with failure to do so potentially rendering their proposal non-responsive. The place of performance is the U.S. Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, specifically targeting the third and fourth-floor Chancery areas. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated, the contract focuses on maintenance services for four Carrier chillers, with a comprehensive service approach that includes emergency support and systematic equipment management. Contractors must submit their proposals in English, using specific file formats not exceeding 25 MB, and provide all required documentation including SF-1449, pricing information, representations and certifications, and proof of SAM registration.
