About this opportunity
The US Department of State, specifically the US Embassy Nassau, is seeking professional services for preventative maintenance of low voltage distribution equipment and panelboards at the New Embassy Compound. The solicitation requires a contractor to perform comprehensive inspections and planned maintenance to ensure all systems are in optimal operational condition. This is a firm fixed price contract to be paid entirely in Bahamian dollars, with the contract price covering all associated costs including labor, testing equipment, materials, shipping, travel, per diem, and proper disposal of toxic substances. The contract explicitly states that no additional funds will be provided for cost escalations or contractor estimation errors, and the pricing will not be adjusted for currency exchange rate fluctuations. Interested parties must submit their proposals by April 15, 2025, and can request the full solicitation details by emailing NelsonDA@state.gov.
The solicitation does not include any specific set-aside designations, making it open to potential bidders. The contract is structured as a one-year purchase order for facilities support services, categorized under NAICS code 561210 for Facilities Support Services. The place of performance is Nassau, The Bahamas, and the contract requires contractors to be familiar with local operational requirements.
