The following questions were received and the responses are posted as below:
1. Is Zero TSO Units installed on the engines prior to delivery?
Response: Both of these items should be delivered with the new engines with 0 hours TSO.
2. What is the exact Model type of the Aircraft?
Response: Beechcraft B200 King Air.

This amendment is to provide answers to questions from industry.
(A) Upon review of the instructions to bidders, we did not see a required delivery date for the first engine. Do you have a date or should bid a date as soon as possible?
Response: We are looking for vendors that have engines ready or nearly ready to ship. (No longer than 4 weeks from award)
(B) We will also need the following information from the core:
1. Engine Serial Number
2. Build Spec
3. Time Since New / Cycles Since New
4. Time Since Overhaul / Cycles Since Overhaul
5. Time Since Hot Section Inspection
6. List of Life Limited Components and total cycles since new
7. List of all Accessories
8. Who performed last Overhaul and records of the Overhaul if available
9. Who performed last Hot Section Inspection and records

NASA LaRC has a requirement for a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-42 Engine(s) Exchange, with current NASA Langley engine core(s) in accordance with the attached specification. Interested vendors MUST include the solicitation number in the subject line of their emailed quote in order to be considered for award.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.5.
Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted via email no later than September 30, 2019. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
This is now being conducted as Full & Open Competition since no acceptable offers were received. Ensure to include the Maintenance Records with the Offer.
Shipping terms are FOB Destination NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC).
