About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking to procure power supply components identified by National Stock Number 7G-6130-016006999, with a Technical Data Package version 003. The procurement will involve 60 annual units to be delivered to DLA Distribution facilities in New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. This pre-solicitation notice indicates that the government will not be using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition, and potential vendors must meet specific qualification requirements at the time of award. Interested companies have 15 days from the notice date to express their capability to satisfy the government's requirements, with the option to complete a Vendor Interest Form on the NAVSUP Business Opportunities web portal. Companies seeking to participate must understand that the current solicitation's award will not be delayed to accommodate new technical qualifications.
The opportunity is set aside for total small business participation, with a posted date of December 4, 2024, and a response deadline of January 20, 2025. Vendors must obtain necessary military specifications and standards from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), with most documents available in Adobe PDF format through ASSIST-Online. Qualification for this contract requires meeting specific government standards, and the contracting officer will evaluate potential sources based on their ability to meet technical requirements. Companies without current approved source status can still express interest, though they will not impede the current procurement process. Potential bidders must carefully review the technical documentation and ensure they can meet the precise specifications for the electrical converters being procured.
