About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring electrical nonrotating converters, specifically a power supply unit identified by NSN 7H-6130-016230282 (TDP VER 003, REF NR 8521077). This procurement is restricted to a single source due to technical data limitations and DoD-STD-100 requirements, which specify that only the identified source can manufacture or repair this component for the intended application. The Government currently does not possess adequate technical data, data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to qualify alternative sources or conduct testing on substitute parts. Interested parties seeking technical specifications and documentation should consult ASSIST-Online or contact the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia, PA at 215-697-2667 for available Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, and Qualified Products Lists. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on September 16, 2025, with a due date of December 12, 2025.
This procurement includes no set-aside designation and will be executed on an FOB Origin basis. The contract calls for an acquisition of 20 units of the specified power supply component. The pre-solicitation notice does not disclose potential incumbent contractors, specific award values, or budget ranges. While the notice indicates the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, it does not provide additional numerical details regarding contract duration, delivery timelines, or estimated contract values that would typically be included in the full solicitation.
