About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 20 units of a power supply (NSN 7H-6130-012660545-GL) with Technical Data Package Version 002, delivered FOB Origin. The proposed contract action intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, as the necessary data to acquire or repair the part competitively is not economically obtainable or adequately specifiable. Interested parties can obtain relevant specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point's Document Automation and Production Service, either online via ASSIST-Quick Search or by contacting their help desk. The government retains sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received.

This pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation and does not mention potential incumbents or precise award values. The procurement is for electrical converters (PSC Category 6130-P) and is subject to potential Free Trade Agreements and Buy American Act provisions. The acquisition is not using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial items, though interested parties may propose commercial alternatives within 15 days of the notice. Interested sources can submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements for consideration. The contract involves the delivery of 20 units, with documentation and technical specifications available through specified government channels. Potential bidders should carefully review the detailed requirements and be prepared to demonstrate their capability to meet the Navy's specific technical and logistical needs for this specialized power supply component.
