About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to issue an RFQ on an other than full and open basis to Pacific Power Source for 5 units of P/N: 320LSXM/M23006, 14 units of P/N: 360LSXM/M23004, and 2 units of P/N: 360LSXM/M23005 power conditioners. Pacific Power Source designed the LSX model as a direct form, fit, and functional replacement to the obsolete and unprocurable ASX power sources currently in use. Any firm believing it can fulfill this requirement may submit a written capability statement by August 6, 2024, which the agency will consider. The government will not pay for any information received, and no telephone responses will be accepted.

This procurement is not set aside. Pacific Power Source is the incumbent contractor and the only responsible source for the required power conditioners. The agency has not provided any information on the potential award value or budget range for this contract.

Notice text

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to issue an RFQ on an other than full and open basis to Pacific Power Source, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Pacific Power Source designed the LSX model of power sources as a direct form, fit, and functional (FFF) replacement to the obsolete and unprocurable ASX power sources which are currently in use and WSESRB approved. The acquisition will be for the following:

  5 each P/N: 320LSXM/M23006
14 each P/N: 360LSXM/M23004
  2 each P/N: 360LSXM/M23005

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than the response date of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0175 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.

The Government will consider all information received via email to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by 6 August 2024 at 8:00 AM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted. Any submissions or questions shall be submitted via email to the point of contacts listed below.
