About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has posted a Special Notice for a sole source purchase order to acquire software licenses for PenLink's PLX Analytical software. This software is intended to support the DEA's communications analysis and drug law enforcement operations.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to notify the public of the DEA's intent to award a sole source purchase order to PenLink Limited for 8 user licenses of the PLX Analytical software for a one-year period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 at an estimated total amount of $37,488. The DEA has determined that PenLink Limited is the only responsible source that can meet the agency's requirements, as the PLX Analytical software is versatile, widely used by drug law enforcement, and the most capable product for the DEA's needs. The Special Notice includes applicable FAR provisions and clauses, and invites any source capable of providing the required services to submit proposals electronically to the point of contact by August 30, 2024. However, the DEA reserves the sole discretion to not open the requirement to competition based on the responses received.
