The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit services for the Plan Program Integrity Medicare Drug Integrity Contract (PPI MEDIC). The overall strategy for the PPI MEDIC is to conduct proactive and reactive data analysis within Medicare Parts C and D and identify any program vulnerabilities. These findings shall be provided to the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans for further review, analysis, and corrective actions as needed to support their overall fraud, waste, and abuse monitoring efforts.
CMS anticipates awarding one (1) Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee type contract for five (5) years, consisting of a one-year Base Period and four (4) one-year Option Periods that can be exercised at the unilateral discretion of the Government.
This procurement will be solicited under NAICS code 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a size standard of $15 million. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number 75FCMC19R0042.
The solicitation will be available on or about September 3rd, 2019, and it will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. Proposals are expected to be due 30 days from the RFP issue date. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
