About this opportunity
The Department of State Office of Acquisition Management is seeking proposals for the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) to be donated to the Government of Mexico. The required PPE includes respirators, masks, clothing, and boots for handling biohazardous material, with delivery required to locations in Queretaro, Sinaloa, and Mexico City. Vendors will be responsible for the importation and delivery of all equipment and must submit an importation plan as part of their proposals. The evaluation will focus on technical specifications, importation plan, warranty terms, quality control, and past performance, which are more important than price. Proposals are due by 10 a.m. on December 28th, and questions must be submitted by 5 p.m. on December 8th.
This opportunity is set aside for small businesses. There are no known incumbent contractors. The total contract value is not specified, but the pricing file indicates the procurement will involve thousands of PPE units across over 70 line items. The place of performance is Mexico.
