Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source
The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Advance Accelerator Applications USA, Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source, for the requirement Pediatric Orthopedic Implants. The Orthopediatrics Response System includes the proprietary Jiminy Reduction Instruments which assist the placement of anatomically correct spinal position for fixation. These products must provide orthopedic related surgical solutions for the multitude of trauma procedures in pediatric patients such as cerebral palsy, dysplasia, length discrepancies, varus and valgus abnormalities, growth plate modulation, club foot, rotational deformities and countless other pediatric specific needs.
The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. Award will be made on or after 15 Sept 2022.
