About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina is seeking to procure a firm-fixed-price contract for the lease and servicing of twelve commercial parts washers through solicitation M0026325Q0032. The contract requires quarterly maintenance services to be performed in September, December, March, and June, including cleaning, operational testing, solvent recycling and disposal, and all necessary documentation compliance. The government will evaluate quotations using a comparative assessment based on price and other non-price factors, with the award going to the offeror providing the most advantageous quote at a fair and reasonable price. Vendors had until July 28, 2025 to submit questions, and the final proposal submission deadline has been extended to August 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM EST through multiple amendments. Past performance will be evaluated through the Supplier Performance Risk System, requiring satisfactory or neutral performance history.

The solicitation has undergone changes in its set-aside designation, initially structured as a 100% small business set-aside but later amended to an unrestricted competitive procurement, classified under NAICS code 562112 (Hazardous Waste Collection) with a size standard of $46-47 million. The parts washers will be installed and serviced at various locations across Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, including the Provost Military Officer building, MCCS Government Vehicle Shop, Golf Course, Facilities Maintenance, Motor Transport Division, and Armory. The contract includes a base year running from September 10, 2025 to September 9, 2026, with four additional one-year option periods extending through September 9, 2030, potentially creating a five-year total contract period. The contractor must provide repair or replacement services within 48-72 hours of notification and handle all DOT/EPA compliance documentation for solvent disposal. While no specific contract value is disclosed in the solicitation, the procurement follows commercial item acquisition procedures under FAR Part 12.
