About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal, specifically Red River Army Depot (RRAD), is seeking qualified vendors to provide parts washer and cleaner rental and maintenance services. The procurement encompasses the provision, delivery, and maintenance of three types of parts washer units in varying capacities (80-gallon agitation, 45-gallon tank, and 150-gallon agitation units), along with recurring solvent supply and equipment servicing. Key contract requirements include the use of MIL-PRF-680C Type II solvent or approved equivalents, solvent replacement approximately every 16 weeks (3.3 times annually), equipment relocation services as needed, and full environmental compliance with 40 CFR 261.2(e) regulations for used solvent disposal. Interested parties must submit a capability statement within 30 days of the RFI issuance (by March 13, 2026) that addresses company information, business status, relevant experience from the past three years with performance examples, technical approach to solvent management, and a Rough Order of Magnitude pricing proposal. Evaluation will consider contractor capability, past performance, technical approach to environmental compliance, and pricing structure.
This procurement has no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors or current service providers. The anticipated contract will be a multi-year, firm-fixed-price requirements-type contract, though no award will be made based solely on RFI responses, and respondents will not receive compensation for their information submissions. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. A combined synopsis and formal solicitation is anticipated within 12 months of the RFI response deadline. Responses are limited to ten pages and must be submitted electronically to the designated SAM.gov-listed point of contact with the subject line "Response to RFI: Parts Washer and Cleaner Services."
