About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract to supply Pantoprazole DR tablets in multiple strengths and package sizes to Department of Defense customers. This commercial item procurement will be conducted as an unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition using FAR Part 12 procedures, allowing all sources to submit proposals for consideration. The contract will be structured as a firm-fixed price, requirements-type agreement that will serve as the prime vendor source for DLA medical supply chain distribution. While the pre-solicitation notice does not specify evaluation criteria beyond the competitive nature of the acquisition, interested parties should direct questions or comments to Courtney Hunter at (445) 737-3585 or Courtney.Hunter@dla.mil. The solicitation is projected to be posted to the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) and SAM.gov in May 2026, though DLA reserves the right to adjust this timeline, and prospective contractors are advised to set up automated notifications to monitor for solicitation updates.
This procurement includes no set-aside designations and carries no identified incumbent contractor or award value constraints in the pre-solicitation notice. The contract will include a one-year base period with four optional one-year renewal periods, providing a potential five-year relationship for the successful contractor. Pantoprazole DR products will be supplied in three configurations: 40 MG tablets in both 90-count and 1000-count bottles, and 20 MG tablets in 90-count bottles. The notice does not disclose specific annual usage estimates, as these will be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the formal solicitation document. Contractors should monitor SAM.gov and DIBBS for the solicitation release and ensure they are prepared to submit competitive proposals by the deadline to be announced upon publication.
