About this opportunity
The National Park Service seeks three IDEMIA LiveScan fingerprint biometric system cabinets with Tenprint/Palm capture capability, three compatible color duplexer printers, and annual maintenance plans, with proposals due September 12. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 334118 with a 1,000-employee size standard.
Place of performance is Washington, D.C., with delivery to two United States Park Police locations: District 5 Anacostia Station (two units) and District 1 Central District (one unit). Delivery must occur within 60 calendar days after receipt of order. Equipment must carry FBI Appendix F certification, feature 500 PPI Moisture Discriminating Optics scanner technology, and include mugshot capture modules. All systems must integrate seamlessly with the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department AFIS and comply with FBI Integrated AFIS/Next Generation Identification and ANSI/NIST standards. The contract requires on-site installation, training, and one-year on-site warranty with next-day response and parts replacement.
This is a firm fixed-price procurement issued as a combined synopsis and RFQ; no separate written solicitation will be issued. Offerors must submit technical documentation in Volume I (not exceeding five pages plus attachments) and pricing in Volume II to Michelle Shoshone, Contracting Officer, at michelle_shoshone@ios.doi.gov. Evaluation weighs manufacturer authorization and technical acceptability as significantly more important than price. Both manufacturer authorization and technical acceptability must be rated acceptable for award consideration. Payment processes electronically through the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform with email confirmation from Captain Daniel Wavra that all items have been received, inspected, and accepted.
