About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command awarded a $2,204,496.45 modification to Standard Aero (San Antonio) Inc. on July 17, 2025, for P-8A Poseidon aircraft engine depot maintenance and repair services. This sole-source modification to Order N0001924F5036 under IDIQ MAC N0001924D0115 procures Bulletin Technical Directive (TD) Compliance services for a P-8A aircraft scheduled for induction at Standard Aero's facility in July 2025. The services include engineering investigation for corrosion coating evaluation, induction test cell run for engine performance baseline documentation, Technical Directive incorporation for engine configuration updates, and core performance restoration to improve fuel efficiency and reliability. The modification was justified as a logical follow-on to the existing order, with the Navy citing cost efficiency and avoiding approximately $160,000 in duplicative expenses that would result from awarding to an alternate contractor.
