About this opportunity
The Department of Defense (DoD) Washington Headquarters Service is seeking qualified small business sources under NAICS code 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, to provide National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)-compliant distributed learning courses for the DoD Financial Management Certification Program. The objective is to develop, deliver, and refresh distributed learning courses covering a wide range of DoD financial management subject areas, such as accounting, finance, auditing, budgeting, and fiscal law, so that members of the DoD financial management workforce can achieve certification entirely through these courses, excluding the leadership requirement. Responses to the Request for Information (RFI) are due by June 11, 2024 and should address the contractor's capabilities, relevant past performance, and interest in participating as a prime, teaming partner, or subcontractor.
This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The contract is expected to have a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, and payment will be structured as fixed-price per course hour for new course development and course refreshment, with the refreshment price varying based on the complexity of the updates required. The government anticipates the majority of the work will be performed off-site at the contractor's facility, with some on-site work at government locations.
