About this opportunity

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency published a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice to award a contract to General Dynamics Mission Systems to provide operational support for radionuclide monitoring at 11 stations located in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and Antarctica through September 2027. The justification cites General Dynamics as the only contractor with experience operating, maintaining and sustaining the proprietary radionuclide systems used at these stations, and estimates a five-year delay and increased costs if awarded to another source. The sole-source award to General Dynamics was made on August 22, 2022 for an unknown contract value to provide operations, maintenance, sustainment, engineering support and subject matter expertise for radionuclide particulate and noble gas monitoring systems through September 2027.
