The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Bridgetown, seeks quotations for one duty-free large hybrid SUV, with quotations due August 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. This is an unrestricted commercial item acquisition under simplified acquisition procedures.

Place of performance is Bridgetown, Saint Michael, Barbados, with delivery required no later than September 30, 2026, to the U.S. Embassy in Wildey Business Park, St. Michael. The vehicle must be right-hand drive with automatic transmission, 4–8 cylinder or turbo equivalent, 7-seater capacity, and include multi-information display, steering wheel mounted controls, power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless entry, push start, backup camera, continuously variable transmission, anti-locking brake system, full-size spare tire, all-weather mats, tinted windows, Bluetooth, ABS, stability and traction control, and parking sensors. The contractor must demonstrate capability to service and maintain the vehicle locally.

All quotations must be submitted electronically to Bridgetownprocurement@state.gov in MS-Word 2007/2010, MS-Excel 2007/2010, or Adobe Acrobat PDF format, with file size not exceeding 30 MB. Quoters must provide proof of SAM registration, completed SF-1449, Section I pricing, and additional information as specified in Section 3 of the solicitation. All prices are quoted in Barbadian dollars and include five contract line items: the duty-free large hybrid SUV, three routine maintenance services, and a separate line item for Value Added Tax. The Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer representing best value, price and other factors considered. Award may occur on initial quotations without discussions, although discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if needed. Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for One (1) Duty-free large hybrid SUV.If you would like to submit quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.

The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer that represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.  We intend to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Quotations are due on August 10, 2026, at 10.00 am. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted.

Your quotation must be submitted electronically to Bridgetownprocurement@state.gov.  It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; in MS-Word 2007/2010 or MS-Excel 2007/2010 or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed 30MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each.

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
