Interested firms must submit capability statements not exceeding seven pages that address company information, Buy Indian Act status, and detailed capability narratives covering service methodology, compliance with HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations, and security and chain of custody procedures. The capability statements should demonstrate experience providing on-site cross-cut shredding services at multiple locations for single clients while maintaining sensitive document handling protocols. The deadline for submitting capability statements is March 22, 2026, with responses being used to determine the feasibility of setting aside this procurement exclusively for Indian-owned businesses.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation at the pre-solicitation stage, though the market research will inform potential future set-aside decisions for Indian-owned enterprises. The contract will require services at three locations in and near Gallup, New Mexico, with a base performance period beginning April 1, 2026, followed by four optional renewal years. The notice does not provide specific award values or budget ranges, as this is preliminary market research rather than a formal solicitation. Interested Indian-owned businesses should contact the contracting office to request the Statement of Work and obtain additional details regarding specific service requirements and performance expectations.
