Update #1 ·

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Fort Meade, Maryland intends to negotiate a sole source contract with NOVA Corporation at 1445 Shefler Dr., Chambersburg, PA 17201 for Defense Information Systems Agency Oklahoma City, OK (DISA-OKC) Communications and Network Server Technical Support. These services are required to provide continued technical support required to integrate, modernize, automate and standardize the communications network operating environments at DISA-OKC. Also to provide Server Administration, Application Support, DoD Enterprise Email (DEE)/Mobility Service Desk Level II/Tier I and Mobility Application Support as well as manage and maintain the DISA- OKC and various external customer server environments. The resulting contract will be issued on a firm-fixed price basis. The period of performance is for three (3) month base period. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to the limited source authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii).

The determination has been made that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably capable due to the highly specialized nature of the requested services when it is likely that an award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is supported by an approved Limited Source Justification and Approval (J & A). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
