About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces is seeking contractors for the Okinawa Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for construction and maintenance projects throughout Japan. The primary focus will be on providing comprehensive construction services, including labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and quality control for maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects on military real property. The solicitation will utilize NAICS Code 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and Product Service Code Z2JZ for repair and alteration of miscellaneous buildings. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be released on January 22, 2025, with proposals due by February 12, 2025. Qualified offerors will be evaluated based on their ability to execute a broad range of projects both on and off military bases in Japan.
There are no specific set-aside designations for this contract opportunity, indicating it will be open to a wide range of potential contractors. Task orders under this IDIQ contract will be competitively awarded among the contractors who successfully receive an initial IDIQ contract award. While specific award values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract is designed to support ongoing construction and maintenance needs across military installations in Japan. The contract structure suggests multiple contractors may be selected, allowing for competitive task order assignments throughout the contract's duration. The 18th Contracting Squadron will be responsible for issuing the solicitation and managing the procurement process, with the expectation of establishing a flexible and responsive construction support mechanism for Pacific Air Forces infrastructure needs.
