About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command Puget Sound seeks inspection, service, testing, and certification of an OEM Belfort Instruments wind speed measuring and indicating system aboard a T-AKE Class vessel on a firm-fixed-price, supply-type basis, with proposals due June 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM PST. The procurement is unrestricted with no set-aside applied.

Place of performance is Singapore, with period of performance from August 1–31, 2026. The vessel is located in the 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility. Work covers two Belfort Model 135-7/2411930-7 Wind Direction and Speed Indicators and includes a 36-month certification service performed in accordance with NAEC-91-8050 and referenced Navy standards for dockside alignment of Navy Standard Type-B and Type-F Systems and Aerovane/MORIAH/NAVAIR-approved Digital Wind Systems. Contractor personnel must be certified technical personnel. Deliverables include a certification memo retained in the Aviation binder, condition reports with recommended repairs and parts, an "as released" certification report, and electronic copies of revised technical documentation, drawings, technical manuals, service bulletins, parts lists, and test data submitted to the OMT Representative. Work also includes preparation, priming, painting, and restoration of new, soiled, and disturbed surfaces. Personnel must comply with high voltage electrical safety protocols and proper cable de-energization procedures.

Quoters must provide OEM documentation establishing genuine parts with manufacturer traceability and warranties, be SAM-registered, and provide CAGE code, name, email, phone number, and business size classification. All responsible sources may submit. The Government will evaluate offers based on three equally weighted factors: technical approach including delivery date, past performance, and price. Award is anticipated June 24, 2026. Questions are due two business days before closing. The contracting officer is James Fergus, james.b.fergus.civ@us.navy.mil, 564-252-5135. NAICS 811310; PSC J066.
