About this opportunity

The United States Embassy in Mexico City, under the Department of State, is seeking to procure 31 gym memberships for Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Attache Office (DAO) military personnel stationed in the capital. The contract requires comprehensive fitness facilities including modern gym equipment, unlimited group fitness classes, swimming pools, sports courts, supervised childcare, nutrition counseling, and spa services. All responsible sources may submit proposals provided they comply with the RFQ requirements and are registered in SAM.gov at the time of submission; failure to maintain active SAM registration will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion, and evaluation will prioritize vendors' ability to guarantee uninterrupted access for DoD personnel while maintaining clear communication with the Embassy's administrative and budget sections. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on December 5, 2025, with proposals due by December 23, 2025, and formal solicitation details will be provided once the RFQ is officially launched.

This procurement is not designated as a set-aside and does not identify any incumbent contractors or current service providers. The resultant contract will be structured as a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order with performance running from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, and payment will be divided into two installments on February 1 and July 1, 2026. The gym facilities must be located in specific Mexico City neighborhoods including Polanco, Santa Fe, San Angel, and Interlomas, with required hours of Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and weekend availability. Electronic quotation submissions will be accepted via email once the formal solicitation is launched. No specific budget or award value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, though the total of 31 memberships over a 12-month period will inform the ultimate contract value.
