This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. 

Project Description:
This project consists of performing necessary design, manufacturing, and field inspection of the failed Oahe Unit 2 generator main leads, pre-repair testing of the stator windings, replacement of the failed main lead components including those brazed to the circuit rings, replacement of the damaged main lead baffle plate, re-insulation, and post-repair testing. 

All materials required to repair or replace the main leads, including copper bus, brazing filler metal, insulation materials, ties, blocking, insulation surface treatments, etc. are to be provided by the Contractor. All testing equipment including insulation resistance, digital low resistance ohm meter, and DC Ramp test equipment and qualified test equipment operators are to be supplied by the contractor.

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.

Contractors interested in seeing the site need to make reservation with Kris Cleveland by telephone (605) 945-3410 or by e-mail at kris.cleveland@usace.army.mil. 

Please be advised that an online registration requirement in System for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ exists and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual Representations and Certifications on SAM. Representations and certifications are required to be up-dated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective for one year from date of submission or update to SAM. 

All amendments to this solicitation notice will be posted in FedBizOpps. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any amendments. 

ALERT: If you are registering a new entity in SAM.gov, you must provide an original, signed notarized letter stating that you are the authorized Entity Administrator before your registration will be activated.
