About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration VISN 17 canceled solicitation 36C25727Q0033 for steam trap survey, replacement, wireless monitoring, and maintenance services, effective October 29, 2026, which supersedes the November 4, 2026 proposal due date. The procurement was a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, and the Government will resolicit the requirement after reassessing the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Amendment 0001, issued by the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System in Temple, Texas, and signed by Contracting Officer Shawn R. Reinhart, states that industry questions identified PWS areas requiring clarification or restructuring. It states that no further action is required from offerors at this time.
Place of performance is Dallas, TX 75216. The canceled scope required the contractor to survey, tag, and baseline the steam trap population; replace 100% of verified traps with quick-change trap-station assemblies; furnish and maintain a continuous wireless failure monitoring system covering the replaced traps; perform semiannual preventive maintenance and testing; and perform repair and replacement IAW the PWS. The period of performance was a base year from December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, plus four one-year options. The Government estimated a $19 million contract value. Evaluation was to be based on technical approach/capability, price, and past performance. The NAICS code is 238220, and the PSC is J045.
