About this opportunity
The 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base is conducting market research for Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey services at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), specifically at the Tolicha Peak Electronic Combat Range covering 200 acres. The Air Combat Command seeks qualified vendors to perform subsurface geophysical investigations to identify and map potential Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) hazards using specialized equipment including a GSSI SIR 4000 surveyor with 350 MHz hyper stacked antennae capable of detecting metallic anomalies to a minimum depth of 10 feet. Survey location accuracy must be within 12 inches on both horizontal and vertical planes, and contractors must comply with strict Department of Defense, OSHA, and federal standards while maintaining confidentiality protocols with government escorts. Interested firms must provide company information, business size certification status, response timeframes for future quotes, and transition periods for service initiation. Electronic responses are due by July 2, 2025, and must be submitted to mia.webb@us.af.mil with the specific subject line "F3G0CA5139AW01 NTTR GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR) SURVEY."

Key performance timelines include personnel security background check submissions within 3 days of Notice to Proceed, completion of field work within 4 weeks of award, and delivery of comprehensive reports with georeferenced CAD drawings showing all detected anomaly locations. The 200-acre survey area represents a substantial geophysical investigation requiring specialized expertise in UXO detection and mapping.
