About this opportunity

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has issued a Special Notice for a task order under the NAVSUP DoD Wireless Services (Spiral 4) Multiple Award Contract. The task order will be awarded to AT&T to provide wireless telecommunications services, including nationwide and international voice, text, and data plans, for smartphones and MiFi units used by the Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN).

The purpose of this Special Notice is to justify an exception to fair opportunity for this task order, as NSWCEN has determined that only AT&T's FirstNet services can meet their requirements for reliable communication, real-time data sharing, and rapid response during high-risk training scenarios and emergency situations in remote locations. The task order is anticipated to be a firm, fixed-price order with a base period plus four one-year option periods, and the contracting officer will determine best value using FAR 15.4 procedures. The deadline for this opportunity is July 22, 2024, and no set-aside is being used.
