About this opportunity
The National Science Foundation Division of Acquisition and Cooperative Support is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing tabulations and analysis of value-added production data and international goods trade data, with responses due July 15, 2026. This is a sources-sought notice, not a solicitation, and does not constitute a commitment to award.
NSF seeks vendors to deliver annual nominal and real value-added output tabulations for all industries using International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) Revision 4 classification for the United States and at least 75 countries spanning 2002–2026, with regional sub-totals and ratios. Vendors must also calculate value-added output for specific ISIC industries J582 (Software publishing) and C325 (Medical and dental instruments and supplies), and provide annual goods export and import tabulations mapped from Harmonized System product codes to ISIC industries. Tabulations must be formatted with countries in rows and industries in columns, and alternatively with industries or countries in rows and all years in columns. Geographic coverage includes North America, Central and South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia/Oceania.
The anticipated NAICS code is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services), with a $19.5 million size standard. Deliverables are due April 2027 and must include accompanying methodology and technical documentation describing data quality, standard errors, coverage limitations, and inflation-adjustment methods.
Responses must not exceed 5 pages, use 12-point Times Roman font, and include company name, address, representative contact, UEI number, and applicable contract vehicles (FSS, BPAs, ID/IQ contracts). No cost or price information should be submitted. Email responses to Derek Bowks at dbowks@nsf.gov.
